Paste a CSV as a table in Slack
Pasting raw CSV in Slack gives you a wall of commas. TableToSlack reads your CSV, whether it uses commas or semicolons, quoted cells or line breaks, and turns it into a table Slack understands.
Your table will appear here, just like in Slack.
How to convert CSV for Slack
- Paste your CSV or drop the .csv file in the converter.

Can I upload a CSV file to Slack as a table?
Uploading a .csv to Slack shares it as a file. To show it as a table inside a message, convert it here and paste the result.
My CSV uses semicolons, does it work?
Yes. European CSV exports with semicolons and decimal commas are detected automatically.
How do I make a table in Slack?
Slack displays a table when you paste tab-separated values (TSV), the format spreadsheets put in the clipboard. Paste your data in TableToSlack, click “Copy for Slack” and paste in your message: Slack shows a proper table.
Why does my Markdown or CSV table look broken in Slack?
Slack does not support Markdown tables, and pasted CSV stays plain text. Only tab-separated content becomes a table. TableToSlack converts your table to that format.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. All the conversion happens in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded or stored, and the site has no analytics.
