Copy a web page table into Slack

Select a table on a web page, in Notion, Confluence or an email, copy it and paste it here. TableToSlack reads the HTML behind it, expands merged cells and gives you a table ready for Slack. Raw HTML code works too.

    HTML to Slack: FAQ

Does it work with Notion and Confluence tables?

Yes. Copying a table from these tools puts HTML in the clipboard, which TableToSlack reads.

    What about colspan and rowspan?

Merged cells are expanded so every row keeps the same number of columns.

How do I make a table in Slack?

Slack displays a table when you paste tab-separated values (TSV), the format spreadsheets put in the clipboard. Paste your data in TableToSlack, click “Copy for Slack” and paste in your message: Slack shows a proper table.

Why does my Markdown or CSV table look broken in Slack?

Slack does not support Markdown tables, and pasted CSV stays plain text. Only tab-separated content becomes a table. TableToSlack converts your table to that format.

Is my data sent to a server?

No. All the conversion happens in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded or stored, and the site has no analytics.
